More pictures from our crazy October

October is finally over.

I think October has been a little to busy for me this year. I got to go on a Field Trip with the 1st grade to Cabella's and Hee Haw Farms. Isaac had so fun and it was fun to get to meet some of his friends. We did lots of festive things as well. We made a haunted ginger bread house, craved pumpkins, went to the pumpkin patch, and attended 5 halloween parties. We also had Kiah's party which turned out to be so fun. We did a scavenger hunt in the mall, and came back to the house for pizza and munchies and played games. The boys even did a lip sync for Kiah and sat her down performed it for us. It was such a good time, and great kids. We had fun friends Halloween party at Corey's house, and I hosted on Halloween at my house. The kids had so fun trick or treating and I enjoyed all the yummy candy that they shared. I really love October and Halloween but this year was exhausting.

Happy 12th birthday kiah!!!

12 years ago today. This beautiful girl came into our lives. She was so beautiful and we were so happy to have her join our family. She weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 8 days overdue. October 28 is a special day to our family.
Kiah was 4 month's old when Erick and I were sealed together. It is one of my sweetest memories having her there with us. She had a look on her face like she was seeing Angels it was so amazing. She is the reason Erick and I changed our lives and made our family Eternal.

This is at age 4. Erick was away at OCS in Pensicola Fl. We were living at Grandma's. She has always had beautiful red hair and she loves it. We watched Anne of Green Gables when she was young and she said " Why does Anne hate her hair, I love my red hair". She is complemented on her hair all the time.

This was taken while Erick was in Iraq. She had a very hard time with him leaving, but she was also one of my greatest helpers. She is so good to her siblings and they love her so much.

This is her 5th grade picture. She has just loved school and does so well. She is so creative and talented. Everytime she sings it touch's my heart, her voice is beautiful and she loves it so much.

She has turned out to be such a beautiful young women, and we love her so much. Happy Birthday Kiah I hope you had a wonderful day.

Family Pictures

We do our family pictures every October to save us the hassle at Christmas time. What do you think? I was happy with them.

Saylor is a very animated girl I love to hear her stories. She is very perticular about how she dresses, if I get involved it can be bad news. She has such beautiful blue eyes and reminds me so much of her big sis Kiah. She is special and she loves to sing.
Sadie is so much fun. She is very social and loves to play outside. She has learned to ride a bike with no training wheels, and is learning to write her letters really well. She is a spit image of her dad so I guess Erick would make a beautiful girl.

How handsome is this guy.. Ladies better watch out. This boy is one of the most special kids ever, and I don't just say that because I am his mom. He is so kind hearted and sweet. He always seeks out the kids who don't have many friends. He is my special sweet man.

Kesli is one of the most loving people I know. She loves to make new friends. She has started a new school this year and is doing really well. She is liked by all, and she is such a smart girl.

I can hardly believe she will be 12 next week, she will start the young women program. I am so proud of her. She was nominated as Vice President this year on student council at Orchard Elementary School. She continues to amaze me.

This girls are such beauty's We had fun taking some pictures of the kids this weekend. Sadie and Saylor are best of friends. They have gotten a little too creative lately. We have been seeing lots of writing on furniture and walls and we always know who's to blame, mostly because it is their name they are writing.

And the school year begins.

I thought our summer was busy, but this school year has been even crazier. The girls have started up dance lessons again including me, and Isaac is playing his first year of soccer. He scored a goal his first game which was so fun and he just loves getting in there and running around. The twins had some major dental work done. They each had 8 cavities in the same spots and Sadie had an absest tooth that they pulled. They were so brave I was so proud. We made sure they had there blankets and bunnies to give them comfort. We made a trip down to St. George over Labor day where we did some swimming at Erick's grandma's community pool, and got to enjoy the Cougars win there first game at my brothers house. My brothers reaction was priceless. I am teaching the twins pre-school on my own this year which has been so fun to bond with those two. We have been cooking together, doing crafts, playing games and learning ABC's and 123. They are such smart girls and will be so prepared for kindergarten.
