Kiah and the Science Fair.

I guess this must be my week to brag about Kiah. Kiah and her friend Sydney entered the Science Fair and they were in the top 15 out of 110 entry's. They are now headed to Regionals on March 4th. They did there project on Metals in the Microwave. Kiah is amazing when it comes to her intellegence. She gets it from her Dad. We are proud of her and wish her luck.

Kiah and the Spelling Bee

We are so proud of Kiah. She was in the Orchard Elementary School Spelling Bee today. She was in the top 5 of the 5th grade and top 20 of the school. She got out in the 2nd round. She was a little disappointed, but we are proud. She is a great student and a great speller. Way to go Kiah.

Girls weekend away.

My sisters and I had the opportunity to go see my brother in law in his first UFC fight in Florida. We had such a fun weekend. We went shopping and saw Twillight for my 4th time and my sister 1st. I was glad they finally got to see what all the buzz is about. They both fell in love with Edward just like the rest of the female population. It was really exciting to be at a UFC event. We were so sad to see Derek lose, but we still know he is the best and is great at what he does. We will always be his biggest fans.

Valentine's tradition.

Growing up every year my mom would help us make cookie trains for Valentines day. This is something I have tried to do with my own family to carry on the tradition. Tonight for family night we made our cookie trains, we divided into teams and each made a car to go in our train.
