What a busy week!!!!!!

This week was exhausting. Monday we hosted a family barbeque. We always enjoy getting together with Johnson's we have some really competitive kickball games, and great food. I have been helping sew the costumes for my girls dance concert, and been driving them back and forth to dress rehearsal. Erick and I replaced a cover on an old porch swing he did the engineering and I did the sewing. I was so impressed how it turned out. I helped out with 2 class parties this week and sewed 3 aprons for their teachers. I have had my brothers 2 boys here while there mom and sister are at girls camp. We also attended the Dance festival at the Elementary which I did the choreograhpy for the 3rd grade dance. And Ikey had a t-ball game today. I sometimes can't believe how much I can get done in a week. It is also so nice to be busy doing things that are for my kids. They are so wonderful and I am greatful to be there mom..

End of the Year Party.

We have had a tradition to have an end of the school year party. We had 14 girls ranging from 11-8, over last night. We had such a good time. We ate pizza, played kickball, did a camp fire and made somores, and played night games. Kiah and Kesli have been so blessed to have such a great group of friends at Orchard Elementary. They will be very sad to attend a new school next year, but I know they will keep these friendships and make great new friendships as well. We are so excited to move to a new house, but are sad to leave this area. We have had such a good experience living in Orem and we were so well taken care of by all while Erick was away. This year was a great year Erick has now been home for 1 year this month. Time flies.

Mother's day.

What a wonderful mothers day this was. Friday the kindergartners invited the mothers to the school for a special program. They sang us 3 songs and recited some cute poems about Mothers. Isaac was so cute. He was so excited I was there. Afterward we ate lunch with them in the lunchroom to prepare them for 1st grade. It was so special to be able to spend that one on one time with my son. He is truly a blessing in my life. Sunday church was so sweet the kids sang for the mothers which is always one of my favorite things. I received many letters from the kids. Erick had my sewing machine fixed which I was so excited about. We went to my parents for dinner and the men made the dinner and did the dishes. Erick made a killer Tres Leche cake. He treated me like a queen all day long. He and the kids really made it a special day.
