Girls weekend away.

My sisters and I had the opportunity to go see my brother in law in his first UFC fight in Florida. We had such a fun weekend. We went shopping and saw Twillight for my 4th time and my sister 1st. I was glad they finally got to see what all the buzz is about. They both fell in love with Edward just like the rest of the female population. It was really exciting to be at a UFC event. We were so sad to see Derek lose, but we still know he is the best and is great at what he does. We will always be his biggest fans.

Valentine's tradition.

Growing up every year my mom would help us make cookie trains for Valentines day. This is something I have tried to do with my own family to carry on the tradition. Tonight for family night we made our cookie trains, we divided into teams and each made a car to go in our train.

Isaac's 6th birthday.

My little Ikey turned 6 yesterday. We had such a fun celebration. We had his party at Kangaroo Zoo. He invited 18 friends including cousins. He made a killing in presents. You would have thought that Santa made another visit to him. We really wanted to celebrate big this year for our guy. 6 years ago on Super Bowl sunday Isaac was born at Timpanogas Hospital in Orem Utah. His dad could not be there for the birth because he was at Sub School in Connecuit. My mom and 2 sisters were there for the delivery. I knew he was special the minute I layed eyes on him. He was the most sweet, happy baby I could ever ask for. He has always been my buddy. His daddy has been gone more than half of his life, and most of his birthdays due to being on Submarines, and Iraq. When Isaac was young he had terrible Asthma. I was constantly worried about his health. He caught RSV when I was pregnant with the twins as well. He has rode in an ambulance and stayed some time in the Hospital due to his breathing problems. I have loved being his Mom and I look forward to many more birthday's with him. He truly is a special guy.

Trip to Washington

I had the opportunity last weekend to go to Washington State with my hubby for a company party. Since we lived there for 3 years I was so excited to return. We arrived on Saturday, We had the company party that night. Sunday we took the Ferry over to Bremerton area. We we hooked up with some old friends. The Frandsens and the Brunsens. It was so good to see them and their cute kids. It was like we had never left. I am greatful for the friendship that we created in Washington and I hope that friendship will continue forever. I am also greatful for the experiences that we had in the Navy, we have lived in many place's and we loved our time there. Erick wasn't home much at that time in our life but we still have great memories. I hope we can take the kids back to some of those place's.

Happy Birthday to Kesli!!

Our little Kesli turned 9 on the 7th. We had such a fun week celebrating. On her birthday Erick and I went to the school to pass out a treat to her class. And they sang to her and recited a birthday poem, it was fun. Then yesterday we had a High School Musical 3 party. We went and saw the movie and came back for pizza and cake. Last night she had 2 cousin's sleep over and we went to Chuck E Cheese with them this after noon. She truly had a birthday week.
Kesli has been such a blessing to our family. She is very sweet and has been my best helper with my twins. She loves her siblings very much. We are greatful she came to our family 9 years ago.
