My husband the romantic!!

Since this is the month of love I thought it would be fun if everyone would share on their blog the most romatic thing your hubby has ever done for you. I will start with mine. we moved to South Carolina back in 2001-2002 and Erick and his brother drove the Uhaul truck across country and they unpacked all the boxes in the house. I flew in a few day later with Kiah 3 and Kesli 1. When I arrived at the house we walk aroung our new home and got familiar with our new place. Erick wouln't let me go in our room, he said it was a surprise for after the kids were in bed. So we put the little ones down and I finally got to go in our room. He had set up the bed, and purchased bedding for it as well. There were candles lit everywhere all over the room and a dozen roses as well as rose pedals on the bed. I thought it was so sweet for him to take time to put this together. Of course there have been many more romantic moments in our 15 years together, but this was my favorite. I look forward to reading your blogs and hearing your stories as well.

Fun at the cabin

We went to a cabin up in Sundance this January. My kids love getting together with cousins. My mom made jammies for all the kids which is always a hit. There was lots of sledding and skiiing and fun family time.

Dancing Ladies

All four of the girls take dance lessons. It has been so fun for me to see their progress. They take at Orem Dance Theater and their teacher is Ashlee Smith. She had a parents night recently, which was so fun to watch my lovely ladies.

Christmas at the Johnson's home.

We had such a fun Holiday season and Christmas. The kids got a chance to see Santa, this was the first year all the kids were brave enough to sit on his lap and that was just because they received a candy cane for doing so. All the girls had a parents night at dance where we got to come and see the kids dance and show off what they have learned. Christmas eve we went to lunch with Erick's parents, followed by our family tradition of going to a store and splitting up into 2 groups and having to get something for everyone in the other group. We came home wrapped the present and the ate appetizers chosen by the kids. The kids opened 1 present from mom and dad. Sadie, Saylor and Ikey received a zoobie and Kiah and Kes got a watch bracelet. Christmas morning we woke at 6 am and started the fun. Santa brought Kiah a digital camera, electric scooter and blow dryer and flat iron. Kesli got a electric scooter, some art supplies and a guinea pig. Ikey got lots of bakugans, 2 starwars ships and a light saber. The twins got a art easel, baby alives, fun piano's and bunk beds for there american girl dolls. They all said it was the best christmas ever. My man spoiled me. He got me a Bose Ipod station and some fun stocking stuffers. We love Christmas and hope that everyone had a fun Holiday as well.

Johnson 2009

I just finished sending out Christmas cards, so I hope they reach you. I really like the idea of doing my letter.
This year was a big year for us. We purchased our first home. We have been so happy with our purchase and it felt like home right away. We had a fun Chalmers family reunion this year in Lander Wyoming were my Mother grew up. We did a family pioneer trek, it was such a fun time. It was amazing to see what troopers the kids were as we walked 3 miles. I also loved seeing the men helping out with the babies and pulling handcarts it was so neat. We also had a family had a johnson family reunion at bear lake. The weather was awful but we still managed to have a good time.
Erick has been at his job now for almost 2 years. He really likes what he does. He travels a few days a week, and we miss him while he is gone, but we are happy to have a job. He is still a trainer at Viking Crossfit in Orem. He is also in the Navy Reserves, and working for a company called Trump Network part time. He is looking forward to the ski season and is excited to be skiing with Kiah this year. He is an amazing father and husband and we are lucky to have him.
Kiah turned 12 this year. She is in 6th grade and is the Vice President on the Student Council. She is a very social girl and loves fashion. She is still taking voice lessons and dance lesson. She is growing into such a beautiful young women.
Kesli will be turning 10 shortly after Christmas, she started a new school this year as a 4th grader and is doing really well there. She is such a smart girl and silly too. She is such a amazing dancer, I got to go watch her yesterday and I was so amazed at her ability. She is such a happy girl and we love her.
Isaac is in 1st grade. He loves making new friends and playing Xbox or the Wii. He played T-ball this year and soccer. He scored 2 goals which he was so excited about. He is my little guy and I love the relationship I have with him. He always makes me laugh and I love him for that.
Sadie turned 5 this year she loves to learn and is excited about Kindergarten next year. She plays school by the hours and learned to ride her bike without training wheels. She is such a postive little girl and loves to tell us stories.
Saylor turned 5 as well. She gave herself a haircut recently which she has had a hard time with. She cries for her long hair back, but what can I do. She has a very strong personality and is a challange to me everyday. But she is also a sweet loving girl. She is loving her dance class and she loves to sing.
I have enjoyed decorated and doing some remodeling to my new home. I have been doing crossfit with Erick and I can't believe the strength that I have developed. I enjoy that time with him. I have done alot of reading this year which I am really enjoying. I also got the oppurtunity to go to Tampa with my sisters to see my brother in law fight in the UFC. I feel like our family has been very blessed this year and I hope your family's are all doing well.

Merry Christmas
Love the Johnson's

Ginger bread house

We had so much fun for family night decorating a gingerbread house. I let the kids do it all and I must say they did so well. Kiah had the idea to use frosted mini wheats for the roof which I loved that idea. Saylor seemed to be the one who spent the most time very carefully placing candy on the frosting. It is so fun having kids who love doing these activities together. They are so excited for Christmas and so am I.
