Student of the Year.

Kiah was voted Student of the year at her elementary school. We were able to attend a award ceremony last night where the honored her. We were so proud she received this honor. Some of the things they mentioned about her was She is always prepared and has strait A's, She is on student council as vice president, she is a friend to everyone. She participates in extra curricular activities such as the Science Fair, School Spelling Bee, and was finalist in the Story telling Festival. She always has a smile on her face and she has such a love for learning. She is going to junior high in the fall, I can't believe she is that old. She is such a great girl and I give her dad most of the credit for that. I was kind of a wild child.

Crossfit Sectionals.

Erick participated in the Crossfit Sectionals this year. The top 20 guys got to move on to the Crossfit games. I went up all day Saturday to cheer him on. It was so much fun to watch. Erick did amazing he gave his every thing in every event. He had a pretty bad cold and his lungs were not helping him out. He placed 37th. Which I think is awesome there were 130 men and 30 women. Some of the events included. Clean and jerk your max weight followed by max muscle ups. Thrusters, pullups and 200 meter run wearing a 20 pound vest. Deadlifts, Over head squats and pushing a weighted sled 50 meters. Crossfit is something that has changed Erick and my life. I am doing things I never thought possible. It is fun to have something that we both are passionate about that we can share. He is an amazing trainer.

Valentines day at the Johnson's

We had a fun valentines month. We went to a fun playdate with friends and sadie and saylor got to decorate cookies and make valentines bags. We also made our cookie train a tradition that we did our mom when we were little. Kiah and Kesli had fun creating Valentines day boxes for school. They turned out so cute. I am glad febuary is over, it's not my favorite month but we still managed to keep things fun.

My husband the romantic!!

Since this is the month of love I thought it would be fun if everyone would share on their blog the most romatic thing your hubby has ever done for you. I will start with mine. we moved to South Carolina back in 2001-2002 and Erick and his brother drove the Uhaul truck across country and they unpacked all the boxes in the house. I flew in a few day later with Kiah 3 and Kesli 1. When I arrived at the house we walk aroung our new home and got familiar with our new place. Erick wouln't let me go in our room, he said it was a surprise for after the kids were in bed. So we put the little ones down and I finally got to go in our room. He had set up the bed, and purchased bedding for it as well. There were candles lit everywhere all over the room and a dozen roses as well as rose pedals on the bed. I thought it was so sweet for him to take time to put this together. Of course there have been many more romantic moments in our 15 years together, but this was my favorite. I look forward to reading your blogs and hearing your stories as well.
