And the school year begins.

I thought our summer was busy, but this school year has been even crazier. The girls have started up dance lessons again including me, and Isaac is playing his first year of soccer. He scored a goal his first game which was so fun and he just loves getting in there and running around. The twins had some major dental work done. They each had 8 cavities in the same spots and Sadie had an absest tooth that they pulled. They were so brave I was so proud. We made sure they had there blankets and bunnies to give them comfort. We made a trip down to St. George over Labor day where we did some swimming at Erick's grandma's community pool, and got to enjoy the Cougars win there first game at my brothers house. My brothers reaction was priceless. I am teaching the twins pre-school on my own this year which has been so fun to bond with those two. We have been cooking together, doing crafts, playing games and learning ABC's and 123. They are such smart girls and will be so prepared for kindergarten.

Happy Birthday to my guy. We just celebrated Erick's 33 Birthday. Erick has accomplished so much in his life and I am so proud of him. He served 8 years in the military where he was on submarines for 3 years on and off, and Iraq for 1 year. He has become a personal trainer for Crossfit, he has had 5 awesome children, one hot little wife (ha ha). I am amazed by this man and I love him so much. We had a fun birthday party, with some old friends from his childhood. What a fun time we had. I love the both of these pictures the first one is perfect , he love the outdoors and hiking and mountain biking and skiing so anything that involves mountains. The next was when he had just arrived to our house for his R and R in iraq, that was one of the happiest moments in my life. I love you babe, and hope you had a great day.

We went to St. George to visit my brother over Labor day. My sister in law Tara has a friend who lives in L.A. and performs in broadway plays there. Well she was going to stop by and bring a friend. The friend happend to be from the movie Hairspray she play one of the nicest kids in town as Brenda if you remeber the line "Just nine months" you might remember her. She also was on the reality show The next Elle Woods, on MTV. So her name is Cassie and she is an amazing singer and Kiah sang for her as well. My girl were so excited to meet someone they consider to be famous. What a fun experience for them

Happy 5th birthday Sadie and Saylor!!!!

Ican't believe my babies are 5 today. How time has passed. We had a fun Lady bug birthday celebration on Saturday. They had so fun with friends and family. This birthday was so special. I can't believe we have survived 5 years with twins. I have to admit they have been my hardest babies but we are just loving our time with them now. I am so greatful for them and the life lessons they have taught me. I am a stronger person and a more loving mom because of there sweet spirits. They are best of friends and they are a perfect addition to this family. I will be sad to have them start kindergarten next year. They are beautiful little ladies and we love them very much. We took them to pirate island pizza for lunch today and got them converse high tops shoes to match there birthday outfits.

Family Reunion in Bear Lake

We had such a fun family reunion last weekend in Bear Lake. We stayed in a cabin that had a shuffle board table, and a ping pong table which provided a lot of fun for the kids. Friday we went down to the lake and the kids took many turns on my in-laws paddle boat. They had so much fun swimming and playing in the sand as well. I layed on the beach and read, it was wonderful. Saturday was absolutely freezing, it never got above 60 degrees. we took a long drive and let the kids chase some chipmunks. Other than that we were stuck in the cabin playing a competive game of phase 10. Sunday we cleaned up and then head up Logan Canyon to tony's grove where we did a simple hike around the lake, it was so beautiful the wild flowers were amazing. It was so fun getting together with family and creating bonds with each other. I always love that my sister married my husbands brother because I love having her there.

Worst blogger ever.

I feel like my blog has been slacking. We have been so busy with our new home. We are mostly settled. My sister and I painted the basement and the master bedroom, which I have been very happy with the results. A funny story, I was helping kids unpack their rooms and I noticed as soon as I finished helping Ikey I came down the hallway to see his Keep out mat right outside his room with the door shut. I thought that was so cute. This new home has really just been so perfect for us. We have been so impressed with the friendliness of the neighbors and the ward. I just know this is where we are suppost to be. I feel so comfortable here and just love sitting in my front room and admiring my home. We have a great Theater room in the basement which we are having so fun with. This has been such a blessing for our family.

Family Reunion over the 4th.

We headed to Lander Wyoming for our Chalmers family reunion. My mom grew up there and wanted the grandkids to see the small town and all it has to offer over the 4th. We arrived thursday night after a 4 1/2 hour drive.Friday morning we woke up first thing and headed to Martins Cove and did a 5 mile handcart trek. My mom made pioneer dresses for all the girls. It was really fun. All the kids were troopers, they got to ride in the hadcart about 1/2 of the way and they had to walk the other 1/2. There was very little complaining and alot of fun. Friday night we relaxed for a while before we went to the most amazing firework show I have ever seen. A dentist from Lander invites the whole community to his property where the fireworks are right in front of you. It was amazing I can't put it into words. My kids loved it. Saturday the 4th we went to a parade. Probley the most low budget ever. Just horses and trucks a few marching bands. But everyone was throwing Candy, my kids each had a bag full of treats to take home. And the fire department hoses everyone down at the end. So much fun. We went to a bar-b-que with my moms sisters family and then Erick, Kiah, Isaac and I did a fun hike up sinks canyon. We really had a great time and will probley return another year. The kids can't stop talking about it.
